Ocean kyanite stands above the rest in the kyanite family as it has that very unique electric teal/ocean blue colour. These crystals can be translucent and also have biotite mica inclusions. Ocean kyanite is not only rare for the world but even more so now for Australia as the deposit is no longer producing.
